1. In order to assist the Author in the preparation of the Work, the Guest Contributor have agreed to be interviewed by completing the an online Startup Q&A Survey, and to provide information and other materials to be used in connection with the Work, including personal experiences, remarks, and recollections as well as any photographs and documents (from this point onward known as the “Interview Materials”), that the Guest Contributor may choose to give or provide to the Author.
2. The Guest Contributor, hereby grant and assign to the Author and Publisher and his/her licensees, successors, the following rights in connection with the Interview Materials for use as part of the Work for use and publication by the Publisher, in any and all editions, versions, and media, in perpetuity and throughout the world.
3. The Guest Contributor, hereby grant and assign to the Author and Publisher and his/her licensees, successors, the right to quote or paraphrase all or any portion of the Interview Materials, and to generally use and publish the Interview Materials, including the Guest Contributor’s experiences, recollections, incidents, remarks, dialogue, actions, and information, as well as any photographs and documents that the Guest Contributor may give to the Author / Publisher.
4. The Guest Contributor, hereby grant and assign to the Author and Publisher and his/her licensees, successors, the right to use their, (the Guest Contributor’s) name, image, and biographical data, whichever the Guest Contributor choose to provide.
5. The Guest Contributor, agree to have the interview between them and the Author and Publisher recorded if the Author (Publisher) should request an audio interview, video interview, or in person.
6. The Guest Contributor, hereby grant and assign to the Author and Publisher and his/her licensees, successors, the right to develop, produce, distribute, advertise, promote, or otherwise use the Work and Interview Material the Guest Contributor provided for publication, in whichever format deemed suitable (whether online, digital or in print) by the Publisher.
7. The Guest Contributor, understand and acknowledge that the Author and Publisher or his/her assigns will be the sole owner of all copyright and other rights in and to the Work.
8. In order to enable the Author and/or Publisher to develop the Work in a manner that the Author / Publisher may deem best, the Guest Contributor, hereby release and discharge the Author and his/her licensees, successors, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that the Guest Contributor may have against them by reason of anything contained in the Work, or any of the above uses, including any claims based on the right of privacy, the right of publicity, copyright, libel, defamation, or any other right.
9. The Guest Contributor, acknowledge and agree that they cannot request amendments or withdrawal of the Work or Interview Material(s) 60-working days prior to publication of the Work, or after the Work has been published; whether online, digital or in print. (Working days: Mondays to Fridays)
10. The Guest Contributor acknowledge and agree that he/she will not receive any compensation for this interview, Interview Materials or for having the Work published.
11. The Guest Contributor acknowledge and agree that he/she is not entitled to receive any form of payment or royalty from the Author and/or Publisher, and/or his/her licensees, successors, and assigns and/or from the Author and/or Publisher, and understand that there is no compensation for interviews or to have their story, contribution or Work published by the Author and Publisher.
12. The Guest Contributor further acknowledge and agree that the sole consideration, if any, for the publication of the Work – is the exposure the Guest Contributor may receive for having the Work published (posted) and hosted by Author / Publisher, (either online, in digital format, on Publisher website (fdnlife.com), in social media, advertising, in print or any other form of future medium used by Publisher), and that the Guest Contributor is not owed or due any compensation by Publisher, and will NOT be paid any compensation by the Publisher or Author for Interview Materials (the Work) submitted by Guest Contributor or the Author / Publisher.
13. The Guest Contributor acknowledge and agree that they will not receive any compensation in any form from the Author or Publisher for the Interview Material provided to the Author for the Work.
14. The Publisher and/or Author DOES NOT provide a free copy of the Work to the Guest Contributor, nor a draft of the Work prior to publication, and the Publisher and/or Author DOES NOT provide a free copy of the manuscript or copy of the book to the Guest Contributor in which the Work and/or Interview Materials appear. (A large amount of time and resources is spent on producing the Work by the Author / Publisher and publishing team.)
15. The Guest Contributor acknowledges and agrees that after publication of the Work, the Guest Contributor can purchase the book (Work) in which their contribution appears from the Author / Publisher or any distributor at which the Work is published by the Publisher.
16. The Publisher MAY or MAY NOT grant any special discounts to the Guest Contributor on the book in which the Guest Contributor Interview Materials or the Work appears.
17. The Agreement terms may change or be updated at any time by the Author and/or Publisher, and is at the discretion of the Author/Publisher without notice to Author or Guest Contributor at all times.

By completing and submitting the online 2020 Startup Survey, the Guest Contributor acknowledges, accepts and agree to all the terms and conditions held within the Christoher Bean 2020 Startup Survey Guest Contributor Interview Agreement.
